About SALAAM/23
SALAAM/23 Birmingham Is an Islamic Arts & Culture festival, celebrates and gives a platform to the very best UK and international Muslim artists, organisations and performers. The festival creates a dynamic vision between traditional and contemporary Islamic artforms, encouraging informed debate that explores, and increases, with an appreciation of the diverse works Muslim population and their rich cultures.

Through a 6-month series of talks, workshops, screenings and performances we want to showcase the very best in Islamic heritage and unique international culture.
Our programme will champion Birmingham diverse Muslim community from Africa, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Kashmir, Pakistan and Iraq to name but a few.
